The second message came 4 days later, explaining that further treatment was being done, and that, while there were some vague ‘complications’ (the previously started deaths by withdrawal put lightly, along with the new sparsity of basic resources), Kikyou assured the two that everything was fine back in town, if only so they would not worry about the troubles the Kunoichi were facing back at home. The first came almost instantly, simply explaining some basic information about their temporary new home they may have missed, along with news on how the transfer of infected women to the Kunoichi village was going. Within the time the two girls were in isolation, four batches of mail had been delivered. Even after research showed that half-oni tainted girls couldn’t easily spread their infection, Yasuzu still typically got the mail, if only to ease the heart of their somewhat nervous courier. Somewhat regularly, typically within 4-6 day intervals, a courier from the kunoichi village would deliver messages from Kikyou herself to Botan and Yasuzu while they were in isolation, Yasuzu being the one to retrieve the mail due to the paranoia that Botan could be infectious. While direct blood exchange seemed to transfer some demonic traces from a tainted girl to a healthy one, unlike males, saliva, sweat, and sexual fluids proved to not spread any form of demonic influence, or at least not with any immediate influence. Kaede and Kikyou had ‘formally tested’ the exchange of various fluids under the protection of some of the Merchant’s lesser, easier to make anti-demonic drugs. In addition, new testing began to prove that only men seemed to have any form of serious infectious quality to them when it came to demonic infection. Granted, whether this drug would be strong enough to cure someone such as Kaede, who had been fully tainted with the seed of the half-oni’s, was still up in the air, but there was no harm in at least trying. For one, a new batch of demonic dream was being made using the in-depth guide Yasuzu stole. If the Merchant’s notes are accurate, the drug should be able to cure the infected women of their current ailment, perhaps even making them overall healthier than they ever were to start with if Botan’s personal recovery using the drug was anything to go by. With the infected women in a constant state of mind numbing torment, and the poor living conditions the Kunoichi had to deal with due to all the expenses of keeping the infected alive, it was an understatement to say this fiasco was a living nightmare for both parties.ĭespite the horrible conditions in play, progress was still being made. It was so bad, some even died from sexual withdrawal, forcing Kikyou to expend even more resources than she was already spending just to provide them sex toys as to prevent further fatalities. The half-oni seed that rested within their beings still tormented them day and night, forcing them to beg for sex they didn’t want, their bodys seizing if not given methods of relieving their needs. If any harmful testing were required, Kaede personally volunteered to take it, her need for all the victims of the Merchant’s cruelty to return to their homes and for her pupils to rejoin their clan far exceeding her want for her own personal safety.Įven with the kindness provided by the Kunoichi, this did not change the fact that the women were still tainted with demonic energy, and nowhere close to being stable enough to be left alone for more than a few hours. At most, blood samples were humanely taken, and each girl was given extremely hospitable living conditions during their stay at the village. Not that the testing performed hurt the afflicted women. There was a distinct regret within everyone in the Kunoichi village who had to participate in this testing. Botan and Yasuzu are still in isolation in the woods as Kikyou continues to have research performed with girls tainted with half-oni blood. Two weeks had passed since the death of the merchant. With all that being said, thank you for reading, and please enjoy the story!) This will go for anyone physically shown in the game, and I apologize to anyone this may inconvenience Playing the game is not required to enjoy this story, but I still do highly reccomend supporting the original release anyways.Īdditionally, character descriptions will be kept to a minimum in this story, since they already have physical appearances shown in the game. The very first lines in this story will spoil the ending to that game, thus it is highly reccomended you play that game first before reading this story. (AN: This story is a continuation of the story told in the game "Kunoichi Botan".
